Tony Benedetto is the Chief Executive Officer for NASW Assurance Services, NASW Insurance Company and NASW Risk Retention Group (NASW RRG). He serves on the Boards for these companies and the American Society of Association Executives Insurance Company, where he was past Chairman.

 

Tony joined the NASW Insurance Trust in 2005, where he led the planning and formation of a new company, NASW Assurance Services. In 2008, he became the CEO of NASW Insurance Company, a reinsurance captive that integrated into the existing insurance program to realize underwriting profits. The company received its A.M. Best rating in 2012 of Excellent A- and has continued to retain the favorable rating. The combination of these two companies provided significant returns to their shareholder NASW.  In 2012, he led the development of a Risk Retention Group, the NASW RRG which provided for customized liability insurance coverage. The NASW RRG received its A.M. Best rating of Excellent A-.
