Spanning 25 years, John Pontin’s extensive background in commercial insurance encompasses marketing, sales, distribution, underwriting, management, and leadership. He has held a number of senior roles in his career. Mr. Pontin was responsible for sales, distribution, account management, and commercial underwriting at the world’s largest trade credit insurance company, Euler Hermes North America. He also served in a similar capacity, in the property and casualty insurance industry, as Midwest Zone Leader at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE.

In 2017, Mr. Pontin joined Captive Resources as Senior Vice President – Business Development and was named Chief Marketing Officer two years later. He currently has direct responsibility for the company’s Business Development team and leads CRI’s marketing efforts and distribution network.

Mr. Pontin graduated with a B.A. in Communication from the University of Delaware.
