David on GCP:

GCP #51

David is a qualified actuary with 18 years’ experience in actuarial consulting and leads our actuarial service offering to corporate and captive clients.

As part of this, David leads our team’s partnership with the Willis Towers Watson Global Captive Practice.  This involves the regular provision of actuarial services to captive clients globally and in particular around capital optimisation and Solvency II, for which David leads our Pillar I actuarial function offering to clients.

David also works extensively with clients around other areas of corporate actuarial work including assessing actuarial estimates of ultimate balance sheet liabilities, designing premium allocation systems and using actuarial models as part of transfer pricing discussions.

David’s work spans many sectors and risk-types and includes a global spread of clients.  David is also involved in negotiations with insurers when coverage and pricing are based around actuarial models.
