James is Head of Business Development – Captive Insurance in the Financial Institutions Group within Barclays International Corporate Bank.
A Nottingham Trent University BA Honors graduate he has 13 years’ experience in financial services, 11 with Barclays. He has held many roles in coverage and worked across many different international markets including South and East Africa, Switzerland, Asia Pacific and most recently Cayman and Bermuda.
Outside of the day to day Banker roles James has studied and completed his Banking Exams attaining his Professional Certificate in Banking as well as also completing his first module of the IMC.
James believes in colleague wellbeing and has been a champion of the wellbeing working group delivering wellbeing to colleagues in line with the Barclays International strategy.
James has also completed the Barclays Pilot Light initiative which focused on creating, implementing and driving a strategic change for a London based charity.
A husband and father of three when not with his family or working James enjoys Golf, Running or watching his football team (Liverpool).
