Global Benefits Director 

Dow Chemical Company

Bryan Jendretzke is the Global Benefits Director of the Dow Chemical Company. As part of Dow's Total Rewards Centers of Expertise, he has overall responsibility for setting Dow's Benefits strategy.  He also has responsibility for the design of Dow's benefit programs and in conjunction with the finance team assists in setting benefits financing strategies.

 

Bryan started his career with Watson Wyatt in the United States where he held various consulting and analyst positions related to benefits including actuarial valuations under US and other GAAP.  While with Watson Wyatt, Bryan worked for several years in the company’s Munich office as part of their international practice. It was during this time that he was first introduced to the concepts of multinational pooling and captive models for financing benefits. He has also had global responsibility for benefit programs at Visteon Tier, a 1 auto supplier. He joined Dow in 2010 as a Senior Benefits Manager.

Since joining Dow, Bryan has held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Total Rewards function with a focus on Benefits.  During his tenure, his focus has shifted from operational responsibility to strategy setting.  He was appointed to his current role in September 2018.

Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and Economics from Eastern Michigan University.
